Hyatt Regency Koh Samui- SHA Extra Plus

Although a larger brand, it had the feel of a smaller boutique hotel. The rooms were great with a fantastic bathroom and bath to soak in. Great range of bars and food. A choice of multiple pools or the beach with plenty of sunbeds to catch the sun.

It was a beautiful 5 star hotel. Everything about it felt luxe and new. The rooms were gorgeous and the main pool was heaven. The buffet breakfast was also fantastic.

Beautiful design, well-appointed rooms, great view of ocean in one room and nice plunge pool in the other room. Very friendly and attentive staff, good facilities and good on-site restaurant.

The whole experience from arrival at the hotel lobby, checking-in and entering our room was exceptional. And it started with a free upgrade to the full ocean view room. The staff was very welcoming and of assistance throughout the stay. Entering the room for the first time and seeing the view of the ocean was just a bliss and made us feel very relaxed. The room was spacious and very clean. Everything was on point at this hotel. Next time when we visit Koh Samui we will definately choose this hotel again!

Modern new hotel. Nice and very green well-groomed area. The Regency Club has a variety of food, alcohol includes: sparkling, red and white wine, as well as beer. There is no freshly squeezed juice for breakfast at Hyatt Regency Koh Samui! All fruits are given out by a specially designated person. Coffee and tea are only made to order, which requires a long wait, and there is no information about what coffee and tea you can order, but everywhere they pour water into glasses, which no one drinks! The area near the beach is very dirty (see photo), although we saw that closer to lunch they were making attempts to remove the garbage, but all this was very late and clearly with reluctance. It is impossible to swim in the sea - just rocks, stones and corals + a very shallow bottom. The pool is small and very shallow. Vacationers do not always take away towels from sunbeds, and the staff does not monitor this. Room cleaning is very superficial and leaves much to be desired. There is no capsule coffee machine in the Club rooms - this is the first time I have seen this! There is no free shuttle to the mall (downtown), as is the case at The Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui. At the Regency Club, the staff tried to be friendly, but were clearly not trained: they chatting extraneous conversations among themselves, and sometimes just discuss the Club’s clients. The uniform resembles the uniform of the technical staff, and this is the Regency Club. And one more unpleasant moment: after we ate soup at the Club we had an upset stomach! Be careful with that!
